"Jugohemija" distributes "Teva" products – contract signed with world’s largest generic pharmaceutical company

- Pharmaceutical company "Jugohemija" has signed the contract with the world’s largest generic pharmaceutical company "Teva" for exclusive import and distribution of selected drugs from "Teva’s" list of oncological products in Serbia - "Jugohemija" announced.

Cooperation with "Teva" is very important to both "Jugohemija" and Serbian health care system because it will lead to expansion of the offer of generic oncological products in the market and it will enable significant savings in health care institutions in Serbia.

The CEO of "Teva" for former Yugoslavia and Albania, Li Peled Lavi, said that the contract would make it possible for “Teva” to offer high-quality drugs from its wide assortment of products to the local market and to strengthen its position in Serbia and in the region of southeast Europe by introducing the series of advantages for patients and health care system.

- Economic crisis in the world and growing health care expenses will globally demand even faster introduction of wider assortment of generic drugs to the market - "Jugohemija" concluded.
