"Srba" - official name of mascot of "Universiade 2009"

More than 15,000 volonteers have decided to name the sparrow, the official mascot of the 25th Summer Students Games, Srba.

Three names were in superfinals - Srba got 49.34% of votes, the second was Cvrle with 41.64%, while Dživdžan got remaining 9.02% votes of volonteers.

Since the winning proposal has been sent by about 40 potential godfathers, the winner and the official godfather of the mascot will be chosen today (March 30, 2009) in "Beogradska hronika RTS".
