Serbia and Macedonia to build railway station with common customs – Project worth EUR 4.5 million

The estimated value of this common railway station is EUR 4.5 million, Macedonian media report.
The project will be presented to the EU info center in Skopje, and Macedonian Minister of Transport and Communications Goran Sugarevski is to make a statement, it has been announced.
Let us remind that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev discussed the establishment of a common border crossing of the two countries in early September in Presevo, on the border of Serbia and Macedonia. After visiting the border crossing Presevo-Tabanovce, the two officials announced at a press conference the beginning of the one-stop-shop project, where the two states want to have a single control and customs service at the border. They also emphasized the friendly relations of Serbia and Macedonia and announced a joint session of the two governments, which should take place by the end of the year.
