Second international congress Sustainable Architecture-Energy Efficiency on October 6-7 in Belgrade

The second international congress Sustainable Architecture-Energy Efficiency will be held on October 6-7, 2018, at the Yugoslav Film Archive in Belgrade. The congress is organized by the EKOKULT+ association, the EKO KUCA magazine, and the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, in cooperation with the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Montenegro, the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Zagreb, the Faculty of Art and Design at the Megatrend University and the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Nis.

This big architectural and cultural event will bring together the most renowned world architects, who will convey their experiences and knowledge through lectures, workshops and an exhibition to architects, experts in tangential fields, designers, as well as students and PhD candidates.

Through all its segments, the congress will encompass important topics, focusing on a sustainable, ecological and energy efficient approach to architecture, entailing the use of renewable energy sources, adequate materials, modern technologies and construction systems.

The congress is supported by the embassies of Denmark, Poland and Israel in Serbia and the French Institute.

Through recent projects and studies of 10 renowned lecturers from 10 countries, the audience will be introduced to modern global trends in architecture, design and visual arts, through an adequate sustainable and ecological approach to creative processes and new methods in architectural design, with the use of RES, clean and energy efficient green technologies, non-polluting and recycled materials. This will be an opportunity for exchanging experiences with the most important international and local lecturers and creators for the first time in Serbia.
