According to the Tourism Organization of Belgrade (TOB), in the first six months of 2018, same as last year, most tourists in Belgrade came from Turkey, followed by those from Croatia, China, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Slovenia, Greece, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Italy.

As for the number of overnight stays, the list is also topped by guests from Turkey, followed by the Chinese and the Greek, and the list further includes guests from Croatia, Germany, Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Russia and Montenegro.

As the TOB says, the trend of the increase in the total number of tourists continued in the first six months of 2018, as it has in the past four years.

– Slight variations in the number of arrivals and overnight stays when it comes to certain markets have been noticed within this growth. However, as we had projected, guests from the People's Republic of China realized the biggest increase, taking the third place in the number of arrivals and the second place in the number of overnight stays – the TOB points out.

In the upcoming period, the TOB expects the number of guests from China to continue growing, but also expects the number of tourists from within the region to increase.
