The Chamber of Commerce
of Alicante, Spain, and the International Federation of Spanish Footwear
"FICE", in collaboration with Alhambra Trading

in the capital of Serbia.
Among the 2009 actions
included in the programme for promotion of Spanish footwear and leather
goods, the Chamber of Commerce of Alicante, in collaboration with FICE
and ASEFEMA (Business Associations of Footwear and Leather Goods), will
hold a showroom in Hotel Continental in Belgrade, which will be
attended by the most important footwear distributors from all former
Yugoslavian republics.
The promotional event is organized by “Alhambra

business, operating in the Balkans and Spain.
In the showroom twenty of the best Spanish producers of footwear and
leather goods will exhibit their autumn-winter 2009 collection; among
the exhibitors, there will be prestigious brands such as Callaghan,
George's, Hispanitas, Pretty Ballerina, Zampiere, etc..
Spanish footwear exports to former Yugoslavian markets have been increasing in recent years; the celebration of this event is a sign of a clear commitment of Spain to explore the potential of these markets. Spanish footwear is characterized by its excellent quality and design, and it is able to compete successfully in the middle and upper product segments.
This promotion action will be held on March the 31st and April the 1st, and it is a part of Spanish strategy to conquer new markets in Central and Eastern Europe where the Spanish footwear is very popular and fulfills the quality standards required by an increasingly demanding market.
