Possible extension of tender for selection of strategic partner for RTB "Bor" – no company purchased tender documentation yet

None of the potential buyers applied for purchase of documentation for participation in the tender for selection of strategic partner for Mining Smelter Basin (RTB) “Bor” prior to January 14th, and the deadline expires at 5 PM on January 16th.

As the Privatization Agency explained, in case nobody applies for participation in the tender for RTB, the deadlines for purchase of documentation and submission of obligatory bids may be extended.

In case it is made, that decision should be announced to the potential investors prior to January 16th.

If the Ministry of Economy and the Privatization Agency decide not to extend the deadline for purchase of documentation, the third tender for RTB Bor will be declared as unsuccessful.

The authorized people announce that, since that company is of great strategic importance to the state, they will not allow its deterioration or bankruptcy.
