Czechoslovak Group signs agreements with 206 workers – Production in Krusevac to start soon

Czechoslovak Group, which has taken over 14. oktobar Krusevac, has signed agreements with 206 workers so far, has been issued all the necessary licenses by the Ministry of Defense and will initiate further production in the next two months, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated on April 18.

As she said, it is important for 14. oktobar to “stand on its own two feet and for the production to start as soon as possible, as it is important for our GDP”.

– We are monitoring this, just as we are monitoring the privatization of Galenika, for example, in order to see whether the investors that have bought the companies are truly fulfilling all that has been agreed and promised in the process of privatization, so that there would be no more cases like Magnohrom, where a private partner in fact completely destroys the company – Brnabic said.

She reminded that Czechoslovak Group took over 14. oktobar and opened a new facility in October, when the first 100 days of the operations of the government she runs were marked as well.

She added that not a lot remained of 14. oktobar, just like Magnohrom Kraljevo, but that it was important for them to be revitalized, for people to be employed again and for the production to start in those companies.

– This is going quite well at 14. oktobar. We are there as a government to help everything move as fast as possible and to see good results in relation to the GDP in 2018 and 2019 – Brnabic said.
