Regional Portal of Business Registers by the end of 2018 – Information about companies and entrepreneurs in one place

The Regional Portal of Business Registers will start operating by the end of the year, containing essential data on companies from Serbia and Macedonia, says the director of the Business Registers Agency, Zvonko Obradovic.

– By the end of the year, we will have data on about 400,000 business entities in Serbia and Macedonia, by which we mean the data on companies and entrepreneurs and related companies in the region – Obranovic told Tanjug at the Kopaonik Business Forum.

Slovenia, B&H, Albania, but also Croatia and Romania, are interested in getting involved in the project.

Once the data from all the countries of the region are entered and linked, information about approximately one million companies and business people active in the region will become available.

Initially, the project will contain the essential data about a company – when it was founded, what its core activity is, how many employees it has, where it is active...

When asked whether the portal would provide a look into the history of a company's business and a potential blocking of its account, he said that there were plenty of ideas and that the service would be upgraded in line with the demands of the business sector.

– It is possible to upload information, as the tool is made to be able to adapt and expand every possible set – he clarified.
