(From the first summit) The second Southeast Europe Aviation Summit (SEAS) will be held in Belgrade on March 8-9, 2018, at Hotel Crowne Plaza, announced Tango Six Events, member of Tango Six Group.
SEAS will bring together international and regional aviation companies, as well as industry experts who have recognized Southeast Europe as one of the regions with the biggest potential for growth. Over 50 companies from 20 countries have applied so far, and the organizers expect over 300 delegates to attend the summit.
The program begins by individual presentations of Airbus and Boeing, and the participants will have the opportunity to hear what the projections of the two biggest aircraft manufacturers are, regarding the region. Cesar Sanchez-Lopez, Airbus Vice President for South Eastern Europe and Israel, will talk about the replenishing of the helicopter fleet, whereas Jakob Funkenstein, the Regional Director for Marketing at Boeing, will present the Current Market Outlook of the global passenger aircraft market, focusing of the SEE region, the organizers announced.
The participants will also have the opportunity to hear the presentations of producers of regional passenger planes, which will present their development programs.
Furthermore, the military segment will be discussed as well at the panel on army choppers, in which representatives of the air forces of the countries of the region will take part.
– It is clear that Southeast Europe is a vibrant aviation community, predicted to grow at outstanding annual rate over decades to come. The true potential of the region is still left to be unleashed. This is why SEAS is critical event for all aviation stakeholders looking to capitalize on forging cooperation across interconnected aviation sectors – said Petar Vojinovic, CEO of Tango Six Group.
The SEAS program will also encompass topics such as civilian helicopters in the region (police, HEMS and SAR operations), education in aviation, MRO (maintenance, repair, operations), security in aviation, regional airports, drones and the usage of new technologies, which provides opportunities for startups from the region. Outside the main hall, where the panels will be held, exhibit stands will be set up for 20 companies to present their products and services, the organizers remind.
The Foundation Partners of SEAS 2018 are Airbus, ATR, Embraer, Air Serbia, Nikola Tesla Airport, Prince Aviation, Jat Tehnika, Sky Partner and Orao Bijeljina.
