Agrokor loses temporary manager – Ante Ramljak hands in irrevocable resignation

(Ante Ramljak) Ante Ramljak, the trustee of the Government of Croatia for Agrokor, has confirmed for Vecernji List that he has handed in an irrevocable resignation.

He left it to the government to communicate all the decisions regarding his leaving the head position in the extraordinary management, as well as to make further steps in continuing to manage the crisis in the company.

As Vecernji List reports, talks between Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, representatives of Agrokor's creditors and Ramljak, lasting for several hours, took place at the government on Tuesday evening.

The talk between the prime minister and Ramljak was not pleasant at all, and the now former trustee handed in his resignation in disappointment and anger with the government and HDZ.

Ramljak's problems started recently, when the Croatian media published that he had hired advisers from his former company Texo Management in Agrokor. The controversy increased when a document was published showing that Ramljak had been formally registered with Tex until April 30, although he became the trustee for Agrokor on April 10.
