Construction of international passenger terminal in Zemun to begin in 2018

Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic reminded that an international passenger terminal would be built in Zemun, and the president of the Municipality of Zemun, Dejan Matic, announced that the construction would begin in 2018.

Matic said that, with the support of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, the municipality would start building the terminal for international passenger boats and that the works were expected to be completed in mid-2019.

– We will thereby use the potential of the Danube and put Zemun on the tourist map of Europe – Matic said.
