"KM mont" opened unit for production of solar panels according to new technology

The unit for production of solar panels according to new technology, worth 66.2m RSD, has been opened today (October 30, 2008) in Sremski Karlovci by company "KM mont".

That unit will also be producing the systems for preparation of hot water in household installations, business premises and schools.

The products are intended for local market, but they will also be exported to Russia and neighboring countries. It is expected that the sales incomes in 2009 will amount to 600,000 EUR.

The Provincial Secretariat for Science and Technology Development invested 30m RSD in construction and equipping of the unit of "KM mont" in Sremski Karlovci where 39 workers will get jobs.

Another 60 workers will be employed through various forms of cooperation.
The unit was opened by the Vojvodina's Secretary for Science and Technology Development, Dragoslav Petrović, in the presence of Milenko Filipović, the Mayor of Sremski Karlovci.
