Antal Bekefi new General Manager of BAT for Adria region

The company British American Tobacco (BAT) has appointed Antal Bekefi the new General Manager for the Adria region, which has been expanded to include Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania.

Bekefi was previously General Manager of BAT's French office, the press release says. Former General Manager for the Adria region, Ram Addanki, has moved up within the BAT Group.

Until the expansion in October 2017, BAT's Adria region included Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. With the markets in Bulgaria and Romania, the Adria region, with the seat in Croatia, is now becoming a part of BAT's new organization area – Southern and Central Europe (SCEA).

In addition to the plans for expansion, BAT will continue investing in 2018, Bekefi said.
