Training and technical assistance for public administrations in Balkans - presentation of projects of Government of Italy in Belgrade


Italian Foreign Trade Institute (ICE) and organization "Dante Alighieri" will present project "Training and technical assistance for public administrations in the Balkans in field of internationalization of small and mid-sized enterprises" in Belgrade.
The project, of which aim is to increase ability of local governments to plan and realize projects for internationalization of small and mid-sized enterprises through strengthening of economic relations with Italy, consists of series of courses and a study tour in Italy. All students will complete Italian language course, they will attend the set of lectures on internationalization of small and mid-sized enterprises and go to "study tour" in the capital industrial regions in Italy.
Following the completion of the training, the students will have to elaborate projects for internationalization of SME (industrial cooperation, joint venturs, etc.), which could be financed through ICE promotive programs in association with Italian regions, with the assistance of international donors or other EU support programs.
The courses will be attended by 52 people from the various institutions in the Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia). Serbia will be allowed to send 10 representatives of the ministries, government institutions and chambers of commerce to the training.
