Nova Varos-based Avdic company is starting production of wafers and waffles - A total of EUR 1, 25 m poured in equipment

- It is planned that on a monthly basis, production volume reaches about 50 rounders and 100 tankers of waffles. In cooperation with well-known business partners and large retail chains, we will place the goods in Trnava, Kirbiko, Metro, Medjas and Aman, products will be launched at domestic market, but significant portion of production will also be exported.Thus, our new brands will soon be found in warehouse stores in Hungary, Poland, Romania, " Fiko Avdic, the owner and director of the company said for Danas.
PTP Avdic annually produces 1,500 tons of cream, half of which for foreign markets.
- We are planning to expand the capacity and scope of production wafers program and to increase turnover to a million dinars by the end of the next year.
Avdic is planning to build a cold storage capacity of about 500 tons next year for storing raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. Around 300,000 EUR will be needed to start business, as well as the approval of the Municipal Administration to lease remaining 3,500 square meters within former Inova complex.
