According to the data of the Regional Chamber of Commerce for Sumadija and Pomoravlje, Panasonic Svilajnac is among the top ten exporters in those two districts, which encompass 12 municipalities and the towns of Kragujevac and Jagodina.

The president of the municipality of Svilajnac, Predrag Milanovic, says that Panasonic is “a serious company which employs, exports and helps and is a true example of how a foreign investor should do business in Serbia”.

– People have good jobs, are paid on time, are respected, are paid for overtime work, and Panasonic contributes more than RSD 20 million to the municipal budget – Milanovic added.
