Energoprojekt contracts job on construction of Vinca landfill worth EUR 43 million

EP Niskogradnja, a subsidiary of Energoprojekt Holding, signed an EPC agreement with Beo Cista Energija on September 29. The agreement pertains to the realization of a part of the works encompassed by the PPP contract signed between the City of Belgrade, the Secretariat for Environmental Protection and the consortium of Suez Groupe S.A.S. and I-Environemntal Investments Ltd.

The PPP agreement has as its aim the construction, exploitation and management of the Vinca landfill, including the production of energy from waste in the waste processing facility.

The EPC agreement entails planning and carrying out a part of the construction works as part of the agreement on the Vinca landfill. The value of the EPC agreement amounts to EUR 43 million, whereas the deadline for the realization of the job is July 2022, Wisebroker reports.
