Konstantin Veliki Airport already services more than 200.000 in 2017

On Friday, August 18, 2017, at the Airport Nis, on the Wizz Air flight from Memmingen 200,000th passenger was served since the beginning of this year which is an absolute record for the number of served passengers in the history of the airport so far.

- Thanks to a number of European destinations flying from Nis airport (a total of 10) and a number of flights that are 23 weekly, plus announced flights from October 31 2017 at Stockholm-Ni-Stockholm section, our expectations are that by the end of the year our airport will serve over 320,000 passengers – it was stated by the Public Company Aerodrom Nis.

The airport of Nis reminds that their previous year ended with 124,917 serviced passengers, which is over 300% more than in the most successful until then - 2015, when 36,258 passengers were served.

According to current forecasts, 300% growth trend should continue this year, according to the announcement.
