Zezelj Bridge to open for pedestrians in November, railroad traffic in January 2018

The heads of the Spanish company Azvi yesterday informed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic that, according to the work schedule, the Zezelj Bridge on the Danube in Novi Sad would open for pedestrians my mid-November and for railway traffic in January 2018.

As the ministry reported, Mihajlovic said that she expected the investor to be fully dedicated to the project so that the agreement and the deadline might be adhered to.


She talked to the owner and the general manager of the Spanish company Azvi, Manuel Contreras Ramos and Fernando de la Torre de Alvarado.

The heads of Azvi said that the launching of a small arch on the Petrovaradin side was expected to take place on August 21 through 24.
