Newsweek Srbija to be discontinued

Adria Media Group has announced that the Newsweek Srbija magazine will be discontinued due to financial issues, which are, they say, a consequence of political and financial pressures.

As the press release says “the two-month wrongful blockage of all accounts” has led to the termination of Newsweek.

Adria Media Group also says that they have made efforts not to have any publication within their media house terminated, but that “in addition to political pressures, there are economic ones as well”, which are the deciding factor in the discontinuation of Newsweek Srbija.
