The Italian factory Classiwood should start operating in Kucevo this autumn, primarily producing designer furniture, eBranicevo reports.

The agreement on the lease of space was signed by a representative of the Italian furniture factory and representative of the Municipality of Kucevo, the Public Attorney's Office of Pozarevac and the Property Office of the Republic of Serbia.

The entire production program of the future factory is meant for export. The employment of 56 workers is planned in the first phase, and, as said, a three-digit number of employees is planned for the second one.

The Italians have taken over the business premises and will invest in adapting it and importing the necessary machinery. These activities should take place from early August till October, when the production process is planned to begin, eBranicevo writes.

According to the Business Registers Agency, Classiwood d.o.o. Kucevo was founded in early December 2016, and its owners are Girolamo Sgambetterra and Salvatore Messina.
