Five local companies in program of strengthening export capacities – Aiming to penetrate markets of USA, India, Cameroon, Chile and Canada

The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS) announced on July 18 that five companies from Serbia would take part in intensive programs of training for exporters, intended to strengthen the exporting capacities of small and medium enterprises. Once the training is over, bilateral meetings will be organized for representatives of the companies in India, the United States of America, Cameroon, Chile and Canada.

As the CCIS press release says, this is “a great opportunity to establish cooperation with companies in these countries”.

Collective training programs and B2B meetings will involve representatives of Serbian companies Pacomm, Avalon Partners, Belit and Technology Partnership from Belgrade, as well as Greensoft from Novi Sad.

The companies were selected out of 351 companies from 31 countries. A total of 80 companies were selected at the contest for the program of strengthening the exporting capacities of small and medium enterprises.

The program is realized within the Ready2Go project, which is carried out by an international consortium of business institutions and organizations, the CCIS among them. The leading partner is the Milan-based Promos agency.

The training programs for export to Cameroon, the USA and Canada are planned to take place by the end of the year, and the training for companies interested in doing business in the markets of India and Chile begins in early 2018.

As a result of the training, the companies which take part in the project will be able to formulate an international business plan with the support of the Center for Bilateral Cooperation of the CCIS and the Ready2Go experts, as well as to take part in the events meant for business connecting.

The project is financed by the European Commission and the Executive Agency for SMEs and carried out by the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
