Turkish Tai Group to open textile factory in Serbia?

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met representatives of Tai Group, who are interested in investing in Serbia, today in Istanbul, the president's PR Service reported.

– Serbia is a fertile ground for business development and it provides the best conditions to investors – Vucic said.

Tai Group is one of the biggest textile companies in Turkey, and it is interested in investing in Serbia. The company would open a textile factory and a development center, in which 1,500-2,000 workers would be employed, the press release says.


In the talks, it is added, the possibility of investing in several towns in Serbia, among which are Kraljevo, Raska and Loznica, was considered, and the company's representatives are also interested in investing in tourism, especially spa tourism.
