Town pound "Žibel" first to get HTCP certificate in Serbia

- Factory for animal waste processing "Žibel" from Bačka Topola is the first town pound in Serbia that obtained HTCP certificate, that is, the guarantee that that company produces safe animal food - said the CEO of that company, Željko Stanić, today.

He said that the standards, which included control of all critical points of production in "Žibel", had been applied since the previous Friday and they implied meeting of the highest technological, sanitarian and ecological criteria.

Stanić added that the company had worked on introduction of HTCP system for the past two years and that the up-to-date equipment for processing of animal waste, collected on 70 locations in Serbia, had been installed in the factory.

According to his words, thanks to the investments worth about 500,000 EUR, "Žibel" grew from the occasional air and land polluter into the factory that solves the main ecological problem of the environment polluting by animal waste.
