The Novi Sad company "Mlinostep" announced the bid today (June 19, 2008) for takeover of remaining 23.48% of stocks of company "Žitoprerada" from Novi Bečej for total of 8.2m RSD.

"Mlinostep" offers 450 RSD per stock for the remaining 18,252 stocks, and the offer will be opened prior to July 9, 2008.

"Mlinostep", which deals with production and sale of mill products, now owns 59,488 stocks of "Žitoprerada", which represents 76.52% of ownership.

"Žitoprerada" realized profit in amount of 12.5m RSD in 2007. The company's incomes amounted to 177m RSD, while its expenses were close to 164.5m RSD.
