Commencement of implementation of regional project "Partneri 2" worth 1.18m EUR - made to attract direct foreign investments in countries of western Balkans


Creation of favorable business climate for attracting direct foreign investments in the countries of western Balkans is the aim of project "Partneri 2", which will be implemented in Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro during the next 18 months. This was announced today (June 12, 2008) in Skopje.
The aim of the project worth 1.18m EUR, which was initiated and developed by the Association of European Chambers of Commerce "Eurochambers" and financed by Regional program CARDS for assistance to the countries of western Balkans, is strengthening of chambers of countries in the western Balkans to attract foreign investments through exchange of the most successful practice of the chambers of EU members and expert advice.
Within the scope of the program activities, promotion of contacts between chambers of European Union and countries of western Balkans is in the pipeline. The aim is creation of network of chambers for the sake of long-term growth of direct foreign investments.
