Thermal springs of Bogatic and Macva waiting for investors, out of one spring daily there comes out the equivalent of 30 tons of oil, currently only sheep and pigs bathe there

The springs of hot water in Bogatic and Macva villages of Metkovic, Belotic and Dublje are only used for bathing sheep and at slaying pigs, although the temperature of the springs is between 60 and 80 degrees. As they say in the Department for Urbanism of Bogatic municipality, the equivalent of 30 tons of oil comes out from one of those springs daily, whereas only the spring in Dublje is partly used for commercial purposes, where the hot water is used in plastic chambers for flowers production. The researches started even before 20 years and it was decided that 4 out of 6 springs will be commercially exploited.
