Yinlong interested in Ikarbus – Zemun as potential production center of Chinese company

The Chinese company Yinlong confirmed, through the Zagreb-based company LTO Energy, its interest in Ikarbus at today's meeting with the Serbian Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic.

Yinlong is the biggest world company producing electric vehicles, lithium batteries and similar products. It produces 60,000 buses featuring super-fast charging (6-10 minutes) a year.

Knezevic supported Yinlong's intentions and said that production investments were exactly what Serbia needed. According to him, 35,000 workers produce components for the biggest world producers in 64 factories in Serbia today. He reminded that the car industry in Serbia had a long history of over 80 years and that it was “one of the driving engines of the industrial production and development of Serbia's economy”.

Yinlong's regional headquarters would be located in Ikarbus' facilities.
