"Vitam trade" plans to increase export of fruit and marmalade - special product portfolio "Mr fruity" for market of western Europe


Company "Vitam Trade" earned 3m EUR last year by
exporting into EU, mostly into Germany, Netherlands, Great Britain, Portugal,
Spain, Denmark and Sweden.
- Company "Vitam Trade, which plans to increase export into the countries
of the Union and other foreign markets this year, export most of its production of fruit, marmalades and jams into European Union (EU), USA, Australia and Russia - said Milorad Rosić, the owner
and the founder of that family company with the headquarters in Belgrade.
"Vitam trade",
founded in 1996 in Ivanjica, has the largest cold storage plant in that region
with the capacity of 2,400 tons of frozen fruit, and it also exports fresh
fruit and so-called “precool” fruit, which is kept at the temperature of 2-3
degrees in order to stay fresh until it reach the buyers all around the world, as
well as frozen fruit that covers 80% of total export.
- “Vitam Trade” produces jams and marmalades of quality fruit from Serbia and it also introduced special product portfolio “Mr fruity”, which is exported into USA, Australia and western Europe - says Rosić.
The company has more than 1,000 collaborators in Serbia and Macedonia and it buys various kinds of fruit from them.
Starting from the next year, "Vitam trade" plans to introduce new product portfolio that will include, among the rest, production of sugar-free jam intended for people with diabetes, organic products, as well as toppings for ice-creams and sweet additives for baking industry.
Although it took part in recently finished International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad for the first time this year, company "Vitam trade" won the award for "Good Design", granted by the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina and the Novi Sad Fair.
Products of "Vitam trade" can be found in the stores of business system "Delta", in retail facilities "Tempo" and "Maxi".
