The renowned Sent Andrea restaurant in Zemun is organizing the gastronomic event called Dani Juznog Jadrana (South Adriatic Days) this year as well. From February 11 till March 12, the Zemun coast of the Danube will breathe with the maritime atmosphere, and the restaurant’s guests will be able to enjoy specially prepared fresh sea food dishes which will be delivered each day from the Adriatic. The menu features fresh catch, prepared using traditional recipes by top chefs from the sea cost and Sent Andrea’s chefs specialized in preparing sea food.
Depending on the fisherman’s luck, the Sent Andrea guests will have a rare opportunity of tasting the most quality Adriatic fish during this unique event, all the while enjoying the sounds of the Mediterranean music. St Pierre, common dentex, the Mediterranean seabass, the gilt-head bream, merou, the red scorpionfish, the red porgy, the greater amberjack and the leerfish are just some of the sorts of fish that are served mere hours after being caught by fisherman from the south of Montenegro. In addition to wild sea fish, the menu also includes shrimps, prawns, octopi and a rich selection of seashells.
– True connoisseurs immediately notice the difference between bred fish and authentic catch from the depths of the Adriatic, but also the fine variations in taste depending on the freshness and the manner of preparation. For them, but also for those who wish to get to know this kind of very rare gastronomic menu, this is a unique opportunity for an authentic experience. We’ve created the festival menu together with our seaside colleagues – says head of the kitchen at Sent Andrea, Milos Gutic.
The gastronomic experience is complemented by the warm atmosphere, Mediterranean music, special festival prices and the promotional wine menu.
