The EBRD Director for Serbia, Daniel Berg, announced that the bank was prepared to redirect EUR 40 million, the amount not spent from the loan to Serbia for Corridor 10, to other projects in Serbia, reported the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.

As stated, Berg talked with Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic about infrastructural projects and new possibilities of cooperation and congratulated her on the job she had done in 2016 in her domain.

Berg said that the ministry had saved around EUR 40 million from the loan approved by the bank to Serbia for Corridor 10, as the project costs had been lower than expected.

The money, as he added, will be redirected to other projects in agreement with the ministry.

Mihajlovic introduced Berg to the dynamics of the project of rehabilitation of roads in Serbia, plans for the development of the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport and possibilities of investments in Serbia's air transport, the report says.
