No bidders for purchase of AHA Mura Prvi Maj property – Part of facility probably to be leased

If there had been interested purchasers for the entirety of the property of AHA Mura Prvi Maj Pirot, the sale documentation would have been bought yesterday and the purchaser would be obliged to pay the deposit on this date, January 17, 2017.

However, since none of the potential purchasers bought the documentation before the deadline of January 16, at 1 pm, the sale, scheduled for January 20, will not take place, reports Plusonline.

– I know that our former workers were interested in the sale of the company's property, but, unfortunately, I don't have any good news for them. No one has bought the documentation, which means that there are no bidders and that the sale will therefore not take place – stated the administrative receiver, Miroljub Dimitrijevic.

– I'll have to think hard about what to do next. At this moment, I can't say anything concrete. It is in the interest of the City of Pirot and my own for Prvi Maj to be sold as soon as possible, but it is not up to me. I will most probably try to lease a part of production facilities, as has been done with Merkatus Textile, and then I'll see what to do next and how – Dimitrijevic says.
