Agreement on further modernization of Belgrade-Bar and Belgrade-Nis railways to be signed in 2017

Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic expressed her expectations that agreements on further modernization of the Belgrade-Bar and Belgrade-Nis railways would be signed in 2017.

Mihajlovic said for Politika that the projects were being negotiated with Russia and China and that the European Bank fro Reconstruction and Development would be included in them as well.

– If we want to travel to Hungary at 160 km/h, we need to be able to develop 110 km/h towards Nis – the minister said.
