"WEG Technology" to have factory for production of household appliances, audio and video devices built - investment worth 2m EUR

Serbian company for production and sale of household appliances, audio and video devices "WEG Technology" will start to build 2m EUR worth of factory in Serbia in June.

"WEG" currently has production units in Turkey and China, and commencement of production in Serbia is expected at the end of the year, once the factory whose construction is financed by the Development Fund of Serbia is finished.

During this year, "WEG" will start to sell its goods in the stores of market chain "Metro" in 31 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.

The turnover of the company in 2007 amounted to 30m EUR.
