Miss Camel contest in Abu Dhabi - most beautiful camel to get 9.5m USD

In the desert of Abu Dhabi, Miss Camel contest will be organized this week and the fund for awards is about 9.5m USD. This contest for the most beautiful camel will gather over 10,000 camels from six oil monarchies in the Bay. The contest is organized as a part of the festival that includes exhibitions of handicrafts and music nights, all that for the sake of preservation of local heritage.

Miss Camel contest will take place in Dafri, the desert of the Abu Dhabi emirate. It attracts large number of owners and breeders from United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrein, Oman and Kuwait. The festival is organized under the patronage of sheik Mohamad Ben Zajed Al Nahijan, the heir to the throne of the Abu Dhabi emirate.
