Protocol about building a modern university center signed in Pecinci


President of Pecinci Municipality, dr Nikola Pavkovic, signed a three partners protocol about cooperation on building a university campus in Pecinci, with a businessman from Chicago, Slobodan Pavlovic and a professor of “Northern Illinois University”, Nency Russo.
According to this agreement, Pecinci Municipality will provide the land and infrastructure, Pavlovic will build objects, and “Northern University” will be responsible for the program, teachers’ staff and for obtainment of prestigious diplomas, as it was stated in the announcement.
University campus in Pecinci will be as it is planned on 96 hectares along the highway Belgrade-Zagreb. It will have opened and closed pools on 15 hectares, a sports center on 12 hectares, student apartments with 100 beds capacity, half-opened hotel with 400 beds and 2.000 sqm of restaurant and services space, university part with teaching contents on of 30.000 sqm and a student cultural center of 20.000 sqm, as well as a park which will be on 12 hectares.
- Building this campus is very important, as our students will perceive knowledge which will help them represent themselves in the world. Besides, by building this campus, we will hire many of our people – said Pavlovic.
