The American brand agency Eleven Inc. has made futuristic-looking sneakers featuring Wi-Fi, a phone battery charger and a video screen.
Virgin America First Class Shoe is a name alluding to the experience of flying by one of the Virgin America planes, and the sneakers' bands are designed to resemble safety belts.
So far, only one pair has been made and put up on charity sale. The money from the sale will be donated to the non-profit organization Soles4Sould, which provides clothing and footwear for the poor.
The current price is USD 4,950, and the eBay auction closes in 5 days.
