New Facebook Messenger option – Instant Video

Facebook Messenger has introduced a new option, Instant Video, which enables quick, face-to-face conversations, in addition to the standards options of texting and sharing photos. Granted, video-calls are already available through the app, so the question is what's new about the option.

Instant Video is a quick and easy way of sending clips without having to go through the process of making a call.

Although Facebook Messenger already has a video-call option, Instant Video can only be used when both users are online, with their messenger windows open.

The video icon will flash whenever its possible to record an instant video.

The clip can be shown through messages exchanged with another user, who can immediately answer with his or her own clip.
