Valuer for Zrenjanin-based Beohemija-Inhem needed

The trustee in bankruptcy of Beohemija-Inhem has placed an invitation for the selection of the property valuer for the Zrenjanin-based company.

The service required includes the evaluation of the liquidation value of the property and the estimation of the value of the legal entity whose property involves secured rights.

The bankruptcy procedure in Beohemija was initiated this May. The Commercial Court of Zrenjanin, in fact, approved the request by AIK Banka and Sberbank made in March, when the so-called pre-bankruptcy procedure was initiated. The bankers insisted on the procedure due to the failure of the household chemistry giant to meet its obligations arising from the Pre-Packaged Reorganization Plan (PPRP). Beohemija was relatively successful in spite of financial difficulties, but was burdened by debts and insolvency. It remains a mystery how the Zrenjanin factory managed to incur such large debts.

The bids can be submitted until September 28, 2016.

The list of submitted bids will be handed over by the trustee in bankruptcy to the board of creditors, which will decide, within 15 days, on the selection of the bidder, taking into consideration, in addition to the financial offer, the expertise, references and other important elements in performing an adequate estimation. If the board of creditors fails to reach the decision within the defined deadline period, the valuer will be selected by the trustee in bankruptcy.
