Architecture fair BAU 2017 from January 16 till 21 in Munich

Each year in Munich, the world's leading Trade Fair for Architecture, Materials and Systems, BAU, is held, setting standards, providing guidelines for the future and bringing together all the relevant members of the construction industry from all over the world.

The upcoming BAU 2017 (January 16-21) will focus on four leading topics crucial to the future of construction: intelligent facades, digital design, construction and management, smart buildings and living and building 2020.

Speakers will adjust their presentations to these topics and offer their solutions. There will be discussion, in specialized forums, about the four topics from different aspects, and visitors will be presented with sample products and projects through specialized exhibits. The fair will be rounded up by the traditional Long Night of Architecture.

As the organizers say, visitors will be able to see the future of construction first-hand.

BAU presents architecture, materials and systems currently used in constructing residential buildings, industrial and commercial facilities, as well as interior equipping. BAU addresses all those involved in planning and designing, building and creating in the area of construction, i.e. engineers, architects, designers, investors, as well as construction workers, tradesmen and entrepreneurs. They focus on new techniques and technologies, new materials and new possibilities of construction applicable in practice.
