Ivica Smolic new general manager of Victoria Group

(Ivica Smolic) The Supervisory Board of Victoria Group has named Ivica Smolic the company’s new general manager.

Smolic has over 20 years of professional experience in the Serbian banking market, of which 11 years as the chairman of the Executive Board of Komercijalna Banka. From 2001 till 2004, he was the general manager of Srpska Regionalna Banka, and his career also included positions in Investbanka, Somborksa Banka and Vojvodjanska Banka, the company said in its announcement.

– Thanks to years of cooperation with international financial institutions, like EBRD, IFC and others, Smolic also has rich experience in strategic management, corporate management and operating risk management. He achieved remarkable results in managing restructuring processes in the transitional period as well – the announcement says.

The former general manager of Victoria Group, Nikola Vujacic, is now the executive manager and operations manager in Victoria Group.
