Zajecar Guitar Fest from August 11 till 14

Zajecar Guitar Fest (Zajecarska Gitarijada), one of the longest-running festival of unsigned rock bands, will be held from August 11 till 14.

The aim of the Guitar Fest is to stimulate and affirm the musical creativity of young rock bands which dream of performing shoulder-to-shoulder with the participants in the festival's non-competitive program.

In addition to demo bands, famous rock bands like Van Gogh, Orthodox Celts, Riblja Corba, Eyesburn and others, will perform within the festival's non-competitive program.

In cooperation with the ReCan Fund, Zajecar Brewery, the festival's sponsor, has prepared an interesting activity with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of environmental protection.

– We wanted to raise awareness in consumers of the importance of recycling and protecting the environment, so we provided each visitor of the Guitar Fest who recycles cans of Zajecar beer at marked spots with a surprise gift – says Jasmina Trijic, the brand manager at Heineken Serbia.
