Alpha Bank denies reports of selling Serbian unit – AIK revises invitation document for the GM

On Wednesday, Greece`s Alpha Bank denied, through the Athens Stock Exchange, reports that Belgrade`s AIK Banka is buying the Bank`s Serbian unit.
At the same time, AIK Banka revised the invitation document for the GM to be held on September 2. The item regarding the decision on acquisition of subsidiary company of the Bank, i.e. the purchase of the Serbian unit of Alpha Bank, was removed. Both invitation documents can be seen at the website of the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
Neither AIK Banka nor MK Group commented on the revised documents, as reported by SeeNews.
