Government of Serbia adopted text of energy agreement with Russia - contract to be signed on January 25 in Moscow

Government of Serbia adopted today (January 22, 2008) the
text of the energy agreement between the Government of Russian Federation and Government of Republic of Serbia on cooperation in field of oil and gas economy and authorized Minister Velimir Ilić to sign the Agreement on January 25 in Moscow.
On the basis of the Agreement, the talks will follow about signing of the contract between Public Company "Srbijagas" and "Gazprom export" on construction of gas pipeline and underground gas
storage in Banatski Dvor and the contract between the Government of Serbia
and "Gazprom njeft" on sale and development of Petroleum Industry of Serbia.
Government of Serbia has authorized Minister of Infrastructure Ilić to sign that agreement on behalf of the Government.
