Budva expands its tourist offer with an aqua park at Toplis – Investment worth EUR 13 million

At the Toplis hill above Budva, not far from the famous Top Hill discotheque, an aqua park has been opened with a great ceremony. This is one of the most beautiful water parks on the Mediterranean, with a 41,800 m2 area and a capacity of 5,000 visitors. The park contains numerous remarkably attractive leisure sites for people of all ages. There are pools, water slides, 50 attractions for the youngest visitors, hospitality facilities and other sites.

According to the president of the Municipality of Budva, Srdja Popovic, the aqua park at Toplis was built by the company Aqua Terra Solution, a Turkish-Montenegrin company, which invested EUR 13 million in it.

- The Municipality of Budva stands to gain EUR 240,000 a year from the lease of land, and other indirect benefits are far greater. To clarify, the city has gained a new pearl in its tourist offer, which will be valorized in the best possible way. Budva is a city of quality, high category hotels, attractive restaurants, planned beaches, with a yacht marina... It is also a city of festivals and carnivals – Srdja Popovic said.
