Seven energy projects worth 180m EUR ready to be financed from EU funds

Ministry of Mining and Energy of Serbia has announced that it prepared seven project to be financed from IPA preadmission funds of European Union in 2008.

Minister of Mining and Energy of Serbia, Aleksandar Popović, specified that total value of those projects was 180m EUR. Preadmission aid IPA anticipates allotting of 1 billion EUR to Serbia prior to 2011. This year, according to the data provided by the coordinators for management of EU funds within the Government of Serbia, 190.9m EUR worth of non-refundable aid will be placed at the disposal of Serbia for economic and social development.
