IMF: Progress made in restructuring Srbijagas, reorganization of EPS needs to speed up


The Mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) assessed on Wednesday, June 15, in their talks with the Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic, that progress had been made in the restructuring and financial consolidation of Srbijagas.
It was pointed out at the meeting that it was necessary to make additional effort in carrying out and accelerating the commenced reorganization and financial stabilization of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia (Elektroprivreda Srbije - EPS), said the Ministry of Mining and Energy.
The Mission of the IMF is headed by James Roef, and the meeting was attended by the general managers of Srbijagas and EPS, Dusan Bajatovic and Milorad Grcic, and the representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the National Bank of Serbia, the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
