Tender announced for another five VoIP licenses in Montenegro

Telecommunication Agency of Montenegro has announced tender for allotment of another five licenses for supply of so-called "VoIP" services. Tender for supply of services of Voice over Internet Protocol – VoIP will be open prior to February 1st, 2008.

The five-year licenses will be issued at the beginning of April 2008. All companies that are registered to carry out public telecommunication activities and consortiums can participate in the tender, while it is closed for the existing operators.

Minimal amount of one-time fee is 10,000 EUR. Registration costs 1,000 EUR and special annual license equals 1% of total incomes from the provision of "VoIP" services.

Telecommunication Agency issued five licenses for “VoIP” services two months ago to the companies "PTT Inženjering", "VOIP Telekom", "Alliance Telekom ", "MonteKom" from Ulcinj and Albanian company "Dimal Telekom".
