Head of EU Delegation in Serbia Michael Davenport stated that, by choosing the way of joining the European Union, Serbia has agreed to honor its basic principles. To that end, Serbia has chosen to reform the enforcement system through its strategic documents. The enforcement system is a key factor to the unhindered enjoyment of rights, which was recognized by the EU as one of the key factors towards the progress within the accession process. The EU has therefore given 1.6 mil EUR of support through the RoLE project. The project systematically supports the enforcement system reformation, which improves legislations. Efforts have been made to ensure consistent enforcement of the new legislations and to help citizens become familiar with the changes and benefits of the new legislations.
